Wendy Mbanjwa is a visionary and a dynamic entrepreneur who is passionate about people empowerment. She is a black female trailblazer. She has been at the helm of this successful business for over seven years, during which she has successfully managed and delivered numerous high-impact projects.
Her dedication to excellence was recognized when she won the prestigious ERWIC award in the category of “Project Delivery Excellence” in August 2024.
Wendy’s academic pursuits include studying a construction empowerment programme at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), further enhancing her expertise in the eld. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, she had a distinguished 12-year corporate career in supply chain management, where she held various strategic roles, demonstrating her versatility and leadership skills. She also holds a BCom degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).
Through Lungolwakhe Group, Wendy is not only making her mark in the construction industry but also empowering women and youth in South Africa, aspiring to be the biggest woman-owned construction company in the country.
